How the Sip and Swap Works
This is a great way to clear out your closet AND pick up a hot and fashionable item from other ladies for free! Find something in your closet that you still think looks good, but just doesn't work for you anymore. When it's your turn to offer an item to swap, you can show it to the group and offer it up for free to any takers. When someone else offers something you like, make your case and see if you win the prize. When more than one of us has our eyes set on an item it can make for a fun argument as to why each should get it! You can swap more than one item.
Quarantine Version: Normally these events are live, but we adapt and still have a good time. If you want an item that you are not able to pick up locally, please be prepared to pay approximately $10-20 to the person giving it away so it can be shipped to you (shipping cost only.)
Please note: There may not be anything offered at this Sip & Swap in your size, color choice, or style, and the same for other ladies in attendance. If no one asks for an item you're offering, just donate it locally or save it for the next swap.
What's Your 5 Sentence Intro
During introductions, we will all announce ourselves in 5 sentences. Here's the example:
My name is ___. I enjoy ___. My business is ___. You can find me @ ___. Tonight I'm drinking ___.
What Tip will you Swap
Since we are virtual now, swapping knowledge, tips and tricks about life is even more valuable. Think of an inspiring quote that has helped you, a cool travel or cooking tip you have picked up, or anything you think may be helpful to another woman.
What's a 3 Sentence Bulletin
If you have something you want to announce to all participants, you can share it with us in 3 sentences. It can be totally unrelated to anything we have discussed, an event coming up, or just a shameless plug.
